Check battery voltage, 12.7, check voltage at starter wire, disconnected, 12.6. Jumped starter and still same slow cranking.As Needed Parts. They were a little pitted so I filed them down to take the pitting out. Regapped them a little under .020". Was able to get a little spark when touching a screwdriver across the points. Tried a new spark plug but still no spark.

When you take it back apart be sure to inspect the key at the flywheel to crankshaft interface and ensure it is in good shape -- it is the extended tail on this key that engages ...
