The manual states to install at least 2' away from ferrous metals and also the head unit of TM base.... in clear view path of TM. The heading sensor is basically a bluetooth compass.The Heading Sensor can be adversely afected by magnets or large, ferrous metal objects. Do not install the Heading Sensor within 24” of these objects as they will cause interference.
